Traditions of Wieliczka as a Health Resortprice: 100.00 PLNENABLEPRODUCT DISABLEThe monograph is the only interdisciplinary study to date on the origins and development of the Wieliczka spa and the use of brine for therapeutic purposes. The work consists of two main parts - the history of spa activities in Wieliczka and a scientific analysis of the local underground microclimate, the properties of the Wieliczka brine, as well as the forms of therapeutic therapies currently used in the underground sanatorium. The multifaceted nature of the monograph required the cooperation of specialists in history, geology, mining, medicine and practitioners who implement the issues covered in this study in their daily work.
