Chapel of St. Kinga - temple of Wieliczka miners price: 35.00 PLN ENABLE An image of the chapel of St. Kingi is known to everyone who has ever visited the Wieliczka Salt Mine. This is the most recognizable mine chamber. The author dr Barbara Konwerska from the Krakow Saltworks Museum Wieliczka introduces the recipient to the changes in the interior design of the temple that have taken place over the years. We managed to show this thanks to the unusual materials from the Museum archives. These are drawings, sketches and photographs (the oldest from 1903), made by Jan Czernecki, Władysław Gargul, Henryk Hermanowicz, Filip Kalwajtys and the creator of the Museum - Alfons Długosz. A valuable idea is to combine sculptures with preserved designs or graphic designs on the basis of which they were made. Contemporary photographs were taken by Artur Grzybowski and Mirosław Sulma
