What connects Solivar in Slovakia with Wieliczka? Of course - everyone comes to mind salt - this precious mineral, which is the leading theme in the event Salt Day, organized on September 8, 2018 in the town of Solivar.
It is worth to take part in our Salt Salt Festival Franciszek. The Wieliczka Museum presented a corrugated pan on the basis of 17th-century graphics, a salt stall with salt with Wieliczka and a rope workshop. Those who support these are available on stations referring to meetings during the Emperor. The stands presented picturesquely and attracted interested guests who count with families coming to parties and willingly join in interactive activities. Accustomed to white salt brewed with surprise, observe the dark rock salt and the curiosity of listening to explain why it owes its color.

The participants of the festival listened carefully to the concert performed by the Mining Orchestra of the Salt Mine in Bochnia. The Salt Day has already gone down in history, but in Solivar there are still two museum exhibitions from Wieliczka: "The power of passion. Alfons Długosz 1902-1975 "- the exhibition presents a photo of the mine and" Powroźnictwo w Wieliczka ". Solivar near Prešov in Slovakia to the salt production plant, the first one goes back to the thirteenth century. Worth visiting is a unique team including: a glazing clutch with a huge treadmill (available in Europe) installed above the Leopold shaft, brine tanks, Franciszek brewhouse, salt warehouse, knocker calling miners to work and a chapel of St. Rocha. In such a specific, historic scenery, the Salt Day is an interesting event comprehensively presenting the subject of soltery.
