Władysław Skoczylas

The Museum houses the largest collection of works by Władysław Skoczylas in Poland - over 400 items, including an extremely valuable set of over three hundred drawings, including sketches and studies for the later popular woodcuts. The artist was born in Wieliczka into a family that had been involved with the salt mine for generations.
